Write of Passage Individual Slam was a 3-day weekend competition with 24 of the top poets in the country. Prizes were 500 for 1st, 300 for 2nd, 200 for 3rd.

Write of Passage Team Slam Finals were between Team Maya and Team Lyrical Faith. The winners got about $600 dollars due to money donated throughout the 3 weeks of the slam.
